THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The meet of the UDF allied parties convened here Monday decided to continue the strike in the self-financing issue. A secretariat march would be staged on October 6. The emergency UDF meet convened decided to stage collectorate march in other district centres.
However, the UDF decided to continue the strike till a clarity is obtained on the things. Briefing reporters after the meet, UDF convenor P P Thankachan said they will conduct a protest by torching lights in all assembly constituencies.
