Housewives to block Cliff house on Dec 19

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the ongoing Cliff house protest demanding the chief minister’s resignation over solar scam, housewives will take part in the Cliff house siege on Thursday.

It is rumoured that the LDF is organising such a protest to counter the snowballing opposition to its protest methods, which was triggered by the ‘Sandhya episode’.

CPM district secretary Kadakampally Surendran informed that thousands of housewives would take part in the blockade to be inaugurated by Party state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan. He alleged the chief minister’s office and certain media organisations had been spreading rumours against the protests being organised by the Left.
