THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP has not tried to create communal tension in the state, said party state president Kummanam Rajasekharan. The congress is building communalism in the state. Talking to reporters after visiting the Kawdiar Palace, he said the congress is trying to create communal hatred by telling lies.
The Kerala Vimochana Yatra led by Kummanam is aimed at building friendly relations between all sections. The yatra is being held for mud, water and fresh air.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC chief V M Sudheeran had earlier attacked Kummanam. They had alleged that Kummnam is trying to divide people in the state, he said.
