THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said the government will decide on going for appeal against acquittals in the T P case only after seeking legal advice.
“The government respects the court verdict. This is for the first time that persons who conspired to kill a person for political reasons are being punished by the court.” he said.
The minister also appreciated the efforts taken by the policemen who investigated the case, the special public prosecutor concerned and former home minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan to see a logical end to the case.
