KANNUR: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan Tuesday said that he will respond on the sentence awarded to the accused in the TP murder case after studying the verdict.
Talking to reporters after the sentence was pronounced, Pinarayi said the CPM central leadership will not take action against its activists on the basis of the court verdict. Leaders said a decision will be taken after obtaining the report of the party commission.
Meantime, politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said the party will move the court for the CPM leaders convicted in the case.
CPM central committee member E P Jayarajan said all steps will be taken to prove the innocence of the party leaders.
