State second in cheating cases: Chennithala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala is in the second position in cheating cases, said Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. He informed the assembly that cheating of Rs 554 crores have been witnessed in the past two years.

More was witnessed in solar fraud cases. 4090 fraud cases have been registered in the state so far.

Excise Minister K Babu said anti-drug clubs will be started in all colleges and inauguration of one of the clubs will be held at the SN College in Kollam tomorrow. Stringent steps will be taken to prevent the use and sale of ganja, he said.
