PALAKKAD: In the 54th Kerala School Youth Festival, Kozhikode district emerged winners as the event came to an end on Saturday. The district school took 924 points to win the coveted gold cup. This is the eight consecutive victory for Kozhikode district schools.
The host Palakkad took the second place with 920 points and the Thrissur district came third with 918 points.
Malappuram (898 points) and Kannur (868 points) came fourth and fifth respectively. The Thiruvananthapuram district scored 800 points only to reach the 11th place.
