SC seeks report on Madhani’s health condition

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court directed to submit a report on the health condition of PDP chairman Abdul Nazar Madhani, arrested and jailed in Karnataka in the Bangalore blasts case.  The court directed the doctors of the Manipal Hospital who treated the leader to submit the report at the earliest.

The court asked to hospitalize him for check-up and a decision on his bail plea will be taken after obtaining the report. The court will consider his case again on March 26.

Meantime, the Karnataka Government strongly opposed granting bail to Madhani.
He has been charged for conspiracy and abetment. The Karnataka Government asked that if bail is granted to him and he leaves the state then it is not sure whether he will return back or not.
