THRISSUR: The accused in the case related to finding of charred body of a housewife along National Highway was awarded life sentence by a fast track court in Thrissur on Wednesday.
The deceased was Shanta (47) from Nellankara and the accused in the case is Palaveettil Jileesh from Chakkudi.
The incident happened in June 2003. Shanta’s body with burnt face and stomach was found in a conduit in front of Koratti government press.
