THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Fahad Fazil, new generation actor of Malayalam films is all set to marry budding actress Nazriya Nazim. Most probably, the marriage will take place in August 2014. Fahad’s father Fazil said the marriage is an arranged one and that they were not in love. He said that he knew Nazriya when she was very small itself.
Fahad is one of the most sought-after actors in the Malayalam film industry. Oru Indian Prayanaya Katha was Fahad’s last film released. Nazriya has acted only in a few films and her last film was Neram with Nivin Pauly. Both will be seen together in Anjali Menon’s L for Love. The shooting of the film is progressing in Bangalore.
The date of the marriage will be decided later, said Nazriya’s mother.
Fahad entered the film industry through Kaiyethum Doorath in 2001 directed by his father Fazil. The film was a flop and after a sabbatical of nearly eight years, Fahad returned in Renjith’s Kerala Café. He was noticed after his brilliant performance in Chappa Kurishu in 2011. He later obtained some good characters and the family audience accepted him with both hands.
Nazriya was an anchor before she pursued her career as an actress. She started her career as a child artist in Palunku in 2006. Nazriya has many fans both in Malayalam and Tamil films. Nazriya bagged her first female lead role in the Malayalam film Mad Dad in 2013.
