KOLLAM: The Kollam Principal Sessions Court found guilty Biju Radhakrishnan, first accused in the solar case, and his mother in the murder case of his first wife Reshmi.
The quantum of sentence will be pronounced on January 25th.
Biju has been charged with murder, destroying evidence of an offence, subjecting wife to mental and physical cruelty and dowry harassment and his mother with dowry harassment.
Meantime, the court rejected the plea seeking to include Saritha S Nair in the list of accused.
Reshmi was found murdered on February 3 in 2006 at the bathroom of his house in Kottarakkara. The case is that he forced Reshmi to consume liquor laced with poison and then suffocated her.
