KOTTAYAM: The national leadership of the BJP has censured senior leader Shoba Surendran, who sent a complaint against party state president V Muraleedharan, from speaking to the media. The directive was given by a national leader of the state.
In the complaint she had alleged that the situation in Kannur where leaders like O K Vasu and M K Ashokan joining the CPM could have been averted if the BJP leadership in Kerala had taken action against the party's district president. She said that though several allegations were made against the district leader, the leadership was reluctant to take action.
Shoba informed the media yesterday that she had sent a complaint against state BJP president V Muraleedharan to party chief Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi. The complaint stated that Muraleedrahan is behaving like an autocrat.
She has been directed not to create any problems as all are engaged in the programme to be attended by Narendra Modi in the first week of February.
Meantime, it has been mentioned that state president V Muraleedharan and Shoba Surendran are locking horns for Rajya Sabha seat.
