KOTTARAKKARA: Almost 60 students of Jawahar Navodaya School have been admitted in the hospital after they complained of stomach pain and vomiting. The condition of none is stated to be serious.
The school authorities failed to admit the students in the hospital even after they developed uneasiness last evening itself. Almost 486 students from sixth to tenth standards are accommodated in the hostel. The students are allowed to go home only during vacation time.
The students were served idli and sambar for breakfast, biriyani in the afternoon and rice and curry at night. When the students complained of vomiting and stomach pain, the service of the nurse on duty was given. They were admitted in the hospital Tuesday morning when their condition turned worse.
