ALAPPUZHA: SNDP yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan has said he had not done even a rupee’s irregularity during the distribution of loans through Microfinance scheme. He said he would be able to prove his innocence.
Natesan was responding after the Vigilance Court submitted a report in the court that Microfinance deals involved corruptions to the tune of 80 lakh rupees.
“My stand is that ‘let those who have eaten salt drink water’ (let those who have done wrong, pay the price). I have not done even a single rupee’s irregularity. If any one of the office-bearers has committed corruption, we are ready to take action against that person,” he said.
