RMP may join hands with AAP

KOZHIKODE:  The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which created a sensation after their brilliant performance in the Delhi assembly polls is attracting small parties of the state. The Revolutionary Marxist Party (RMP) launched by murdered T P Chandrasekharan, is in the forefront to join hands with the AAP. RMP state secretary N Venus said they are planning to join the AAP in the Lok Sabha polls.

Initial talks were held with the party’s Delhi faction, said Venu. The move is to work collectively in maximum centres. There is nothing wrong in joining hands with them in the fight against corruption. RMP is aiming to form an alternative Left Front. Both the parties are planning to field candidates in the polls, he said.

Meantime, AAP’s Kerala faction spokesperson Ratheesh said the RMP has so far not held talks with the state leadership. The party has not taken a decision on which all seats they should contest in the Lok Sabha polls, Ratheesh said.
