ALUVA: A youth, who came to fit braces for his teeth at a private hospital in Aluva, died during treatment. It has been alleged that lapses in anaesthesia is the reason behind the incident. When the incident sparked a controversy, the police registered a case for unnatural death.
The 24-year-old-youth identified as Denny, son of Baby of Kalamassery died last evening. After post-mortem the body will be handed over to his relatives.
Denny, an engineer and working in Infosys Bangalore first went to a clinic in Kalamassery and as per the doctor’s advice he went to a hospital in Aluva. He felt uneasiness as soon as he was given anaesthesia. He died while taken to a private hospital in Ernakulam. The exact cause of death will be known only after post mortem.
