Chandy wants political tension to prevail: Pinarayi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader Pinarayi Vijayan has said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s remark made in Kasargod brought out his ill intention to sustain political tension between the CPM and RSS.  “The chief minister is not all ready to come out of his mind-set of finding fault with the CPM and justifying RSS, on the other hand,” he comments on his Facebook post.

“Even when CPM responded creatively to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s indirect call for peace talks, RSS had been unleashing violence. Two days after Bhagwat’s return, RSS men took up arms, which means they can’t be trusted. Even then CPM came forward for peace talks. Chandy should have welcomed such moves for peace,” he writes.

Incidentally, Pinarayi also bereaved the family members of the late Lt. Col Niranjan, who died recently on a commando operation. “I salute him from my heart,” he added.
