THRISSUR: A crack was detected on the railway track near Kerala Feeds Company at Kallettinkara in Irinjalakuda. It was noticed at around 8.30 am Tuesday morning a little before the Guruvayur-Ernakulam train was about to pass that way.
The train was immediately stopped. Other trains plying in the same route were stopped at the concerned stations.
A team from Thrissur has reached to repair it. Train services will be resumed within hours, informed the railway authorities.
