PERUNNA: Soon after facing severe criticisms from the NSS, BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan offered floral tributes at the Mannam Samadhi in Perunna Saturday morning.
After offering tributes, Kummanam held talks with NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair. Nair expressed deep discontent on the attitude of a section of the BJP towards them.
Nair said the BJP is trying to stain the image of the NSS and the community organisation is not a tail of any party. Those belonging to the Nair community should have the freedom to function in any party as a Nair.
Meantime, Kummanam said a solution would be found after finding the reason for the problems with the NSS. The reason for the dislike would be examined, he said while talking to reporters.
