Apt decision will be taken by High Command on KPCC chief: Chennithala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An apt decision will be taken by the high command on the new KPCC chief, said Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. Talking to reporters on his arrival from Delhi, Chennithala said that he along with the chief minister held detailed talks with the high command on the matter.

Political matters and the selection of KPCC chief were the two things discussed with the Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi. Divulging the details of the talks held with high command is against organisational etiquettes, he said.

Chennithala said that he has informed the high command about the difficulties of holding two posts at a time.

The home minister said that he will respond after going through the verdict in the palmolein case.
