KOLLAM A car that was running caught fire near Melpalam at Kollam Kadappakada Chemmanmukku road on Friday. The car was almost destroyed in the fire. A major tragedy was averted as the passenger inside the car got out, seeing smoke coming out from the A C Ventellator.
The car belongs to Kottiyam native and Jewellery owner Sathyadevan. The occupants of the car at the time of the incident were Sathyadevan, wife Suseela, elder brother Sathyaseelan.
The fire was put out after the firemen arrived at the spot.
