KOZHIKODE: Anti-social elements spoiled the Onam celebrations arranged at the BEM UP School at Puthiyara in Kozhikode. They destroyed the Onam Sadya prepared for the children. They later strew faeces in the well and cooking shed. The teachers who reached the school this morning noticed it. The food prepared yesterday was completely destroyed.
Kozhikode district collector N Prashanth who reached the school knowing the incident said the Onam celebrations will be held at the expense of the district administration. He slammed the incident and said steps will be taken against the guilty after probing the incident.
