RCC to become national institute; Rs 125-crore financial aid

ALAPPUZHA: The Central government has decided to upgrade the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cancer Centre so as to give the institute a national status. For this purpose, Union Health Minster Ghulam Nabi Azad said the Centre would sanction Rs 125 crore. He also said RCC sub centres would be started in Kozhikode and Kochi.
