CD controversy: CM holds discussion with AG

NEDUMBASSERY: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy held discussions with Advocate General Dandapani and Director General of Prosecutor Asif Ali to counter the CDs presented by Solar scam accused Saritha S Nair to the Solar commission. The discussion which was held at Nedumbassery airport today morning at 7 continued for about 45 minutes.  

The content of the five CDs presented by Saritha before the Solar Commission reportedly went against the chief minister. The CDs contained the conversation of Chandy’s confidant Benny Behanan and Thampanoor Ravi advising Saritha about ways to save the chief minister from the case. The chief minister called AG and IG to the airport to seek advice on how to face Saritha’s threatening revelations.   

The chief minister who reached Kochi by air went to Kozhikode in a helicopter and after discussions. He had cancelled his programmes in Kochi and gone to Kozhikode in connection with the prime minister’s visit. Earlier also, the chief minister held discussion at the same airport to plan the next action when the Thrissur Vigilance passed an order to file an FIR against him and Minister Aryadan Muhammed.
