THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A bar owner has given statements against Finance minister K M Mani. Bar owner Saju Dominic gave the statement that he had seen another bar owner John Kallat going into Mani’s house carrying a bag containing Rs 15 lakh.
“The money was collected from one Kunjumon’s hotel in Pala and John Kallat and I reached in front of Man’s house with the cash. There, it was handed over to Bar Association treasurer Tankachan. It was Kallat who went inside Mani’s house but I didn’t see him handing over the money to Mani,” he said in the statement.
