CBSE maths exam proves tough

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBSE plus two Maths examinations turned out be a very difficult hurdle for students, who took the exam on Wednesday.

"There was change in question patterns. From the old kind of pattern, only questions for ten marks had appeared," said sources.

Most students returned home with teary eyes. Among the 27 questions, the students could only digest questions for 10 marks.

“The below average students were not considered while setting the questions. In the past 8 years, such kind of questions for the Maths exam have appeared for the first time. Some even had the standard of graduation-level questions,” said the teachers.
