THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A big ditch was formed in a pipe burst in three places at Pottakkuzhy on the road going to the medical college from Pattom. The pipe burst was witnessed in between Pottakkuzhay and Cosmo Hospital. A KSRTC bus got stuck in the ditch. The incident happened Wednesday morning.
Transportation was diverted following the annihilation of the road. Water supply to medical college parts has been disrupted. Water authority officials said it may have happened due to old pipes.
