Visa fraud: Middle-aged woman arrested

ADOOR: Moli Rajan, 50,  from Nellikkaman at Rani was arrested by police on Wednesday for allegedly cheating many persons out of money worth lakhs of rupees in the name of arranging visas for them. She had fled to some foreign country after committing the fraud . The police arrested her tactfully after her return to India. The police had asked her to come to Ranni from where she was arrested.

Coming to know about the arrest, many of her victims have reached Adoor police station. She used to lure her customers at Pentecost meetings with her well-crafted cancer-revival stories. Then she would offer jobs in Super market, IT  companies and Nursing institutes to her clients  and take money from them. She would also offer visas for placements abroad.

The case against her for visa fraud was registered four years ago but she could not be arrested as she was abroad.
