KOCHI: Film producers have imposed a temporary ban on actor Kalabhavan Mani. The ban is for not reaching the sets after accepting an advance.
The producers' meet decided to allow him to act in other films only after giving compensation to the producer. The complaint of Snehajith, producer of the film Daivom Sakshi, is that after receiving the remuneration and giving him dates, the actor failed to reach the location.
The producers' association decided to allow him to act in other films only after paying the amount which the director lost.
