KANNUR: A Muslim League activist was hacked by a team at Irikkur Siddique Nagar in the district. The activist identified as Unaiz (24), son of Mehamood, has been admitted at the AKG Hospital in a serious condition.
Unaiz was attacked by a six-member team while he was sitting at the bus shelter in Siddique Nagar at 10.15 pm last night. After creating a tense situation by hurling a bomb, he was hacked using a cross sword. The Irikkur police have registered a case.
