THRISSUR: The Thrissur Vigilance Court Wednesday ordered a vigilance probe against DGP K S Balasubramanyam.
The probe has been ordered on the complaint that he tried to subvert the case against Nisham, accused in the Chandrabose murder case. It has been alleged that he tried to rescue Nisham after complying with his financial influence. Apart from the DGP, a probe will be conducted against nine others including former Thrissur commissioner Jacob Job.
The court has directed to produce the initial report before June 25.
