Sudheeran asks Abu to apologize or face action

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC chief V M Sudheeran asked Kozhikode DCC president K C Abu to apologize for his derogatory statements against women MLAs. If he is not ready for that, then disciplinary action would be taken against him, Sudheeran said while talking to the media.

The congress totally opposes Abu’s statement. The act of Abu is against the culture and values of the party, he said.

Party spokespersons partaking in channel discussions should opine only party’s stand. Personal stance should not be opined. Two spokespersons should not give different opinions in a same channel.

When pointed out K M Mani’s statement that he will not resign even if a charge sheet is filed, Sudheeran said there is no importance for it now. That issue can erupt again at any time and it can be considered then, he said in reply to a question.
