THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: AMMA general secretary Edavela Babu, actor Maniyanpilla Raju and Kalady Omana Monday resigned from the director board of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) in protest against the appointment of Congress spokesperson Rajmohan Unnithan as the chairman of the organization. However, the government will not withdraw their decision and most probably Unnithan will take charge on Wednesday.
Edavela Babu said they will not cooperate with the government any longer and will boycott government’s programmes. He said they will request the government to withdraw the advertisements acted freely for them.
Meantime, Salim Kumar’s attempt is to divert attention, said Maniyanpilla Raju. He will also have to resign from the director board. He slammed the decision of the government.
