VS seeks filing of case against three ministers in bar bribery case

THIRUVANANHAPURAM: Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has written a letter to Vigilance Director Vinson M Paul, seeking filing of an FIR under Prevention of Corruption Act and initiating an inquiry against three more ministers based on the conversations in a recently released CD.

Earlier, Vigilance case was registered against Mani based on VS’ letter.

There were reports on March 12 that Ministers Ramesh Chennithala, K Babu and V S Sivakumar had also taken bribe from Bar owners. VS said in the letter that in the conservation that “took place between bar owners and Biju Ramesh, the names of three ministers were also mentioned  among those who had taken bribe from bar owners.”

In the conversation , it is said that Chennithala took bribe at KPCC office, Sivakumar at his home and K Babu took crores as bribe.
