Congress high command sends for Chandy, Chennithala, Sudheeran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finally, Congress high command has decided to intervene in issues of the Congress party in Kerala.
As part of this, the high command has invited Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and KPCC president V M Sudheeran to New Delhi. The high command will hold a meeting with the leaders on December 22.

Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Vice-president Rahul Gandhi, AICC general secretary in charge of Kerala Mukul Wasnik and Congress Working committee member A K Antony will attend the meeting.

The high command action has come soon after Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala sent a letter to the high command, pointing out the faults of Chandy government.

In the letter, Chennithala had said that corruption and dented image of the government had resulted in civic poll drubbing. “If the government continues in this state, winning the Assembly election would be a far cry” he added.
