KOCHI: Coming down heavily on media and the police, Solar Commission chief Justice Sivarajan said that the duo had made the search for CD based on Biju Radhakrishnan’s allegations a celebration despite instructions to carry out the operation secretly.
“The CD search should have carried out secretly but overenthusiasm of the media spoilt that attempt. The jail authorities also failed to present Biju in time to record statements. If he had been presented earlier, the evidence collection would have taken place at a faster pace. The failure has also created a bad impression in the minds of the people at least to a small extent,” said Sivarajan who, as well, blamed the media and police for the ‘failed mission’.
