KOTTAYAM: The statement of congress working committee member A K Antony about development is like questioning the common sense of the people, said CPM politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan. Talking to the media as part of his Nava Kerala March, Pinarayi ridiculed Antony for coming forward justifying the government.
Antony, who said there is no other state in the country where development has taken place so much, is in a dream world. It was development of corruption which took place in the state. The Oommen Chandy cabinet has the image of looters. Not even a fraction of morality is left in the Congress party. One should not expect more from a leader of such a party. The congressmen even have thought of the end of administration of this cabinet. Even the congress activists will not believe Antony’s claim that the congress will retain power in Kerala.
There is no need for the CPM to provide money to solar case accused Saritha S Nair. In reply to the allegation that E P Jayarajan has offered Rs 10 crore to her, he said the party has not stooped so much to offer her money.
