THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DGP has rejected Opposition leader Achuthanandan’s demand for filing a case against KPCC general secretary Thampanoor Ravi for allegedly trying to influence Solar scam accused Saritha S Nair.
The police made it clear that there was no proof for Ravi trying to influence Saritha or threatening her. The police had also sought legal advice from Director General of Prosecution T Asafali in this regard.
Ravi’s telephonic talk with Saritha was present in the CD she had given to the Commission as evidence. After this, it was also released through media. Achuthanandan later demanded a probe on the basis of this. A similar complaint given to DGP by social activist Raju was earlier rejected on the same grounds.
