IDUKKI: A man sustained serious injuries after attacked by a wild elephant in Idukki. The victim identified as Senthil Kumar (37), native of Tamil Nadu, has been admitted at the Theni Medical College Hospital.
The incident happened Monday morning at 6.30 am. He was attacked by an elephant from the herd of elephants when he got out of his house. When he tried to escape, the elephant caught hold of him in its trunk and threw him away.
One person was attacked yesterday at a cardamom estate in Shanthanpara.
