THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have started inquiry into the incident in which a selfie of online Sex-racket accused Rahul Pasupalan, who is in jail, appeared on his Facebook page recently.
Rahul posted the selfie with Akbar, another accused in the case, on Wednesday. There were also handcuffs in their hands. But the picture was removed immediately.

Rahul and his wife Lekshmi Nair were arrested in connection with Online sex trade in November.
The police have contacted the Facebook officials to find the IP address from which the picture was posted.
Cyber Cell’s presumption is that Pasupalan might have taken the selfie when he was being taken to the court in connection with a case registered by the Bangalore police.
“The selfie was on Rahul’s timeline for about 15 minutes,” said IG Sreejith, who had led Operation Big Daddy that led to the arrest of Rahul and his accomplices.
