Saritha hands over three discs to solar commission

KOCHI: Saritha S Nair, the main accused in the solar case, handed over three discs and a letter to the judicial commission on Monday. The first disc contains her dialogues with former gunman of the chief minister. The second disc covers her dialogues with Benny Behanan MLA, a confidant of the chief minister, in 2014-2016 and her dialogues with KPCC general secretary Thampanoor Ravi. The third disc contains the clippings of her meeting with Abraham Kalaman, the first promoter of the Aranmula Airport Project.

She told the commission that the discs produced prove her statements right. She told them that she introduced industrialist Abraham Kalaman to the chief minister. She said that Abraham later asked her to destroy the evidences. The disc shows the clippings of Abraham threatening her. The commission accepted the discs as evidences. However, the government counsel requested the commission to examine the authenticity of the disc.

She also produced the invitation letter of the inauguration of the team solar project. Bijy Radhakrishnan, another accused in the case had invited the chief minister for the function. An invitation letter was also given to Minister P K Jayalakshmy.
