VS alleges corruption of Rs 10,000 crores in solar case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan appeared before the Solar Judicial Commission and gave evidence in the solar fraud case. He told the commission that a corruption of Rs 10,000 crores was viewed in the case.  He attended the sitting held at the Thycaud Guest House and gave the evidence in connection with the allegations levelled in the solar case.  He informed the commission in document that the office of the chief minister is involved in the case and some in the office helped the fraudsters.

CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Thomas Isaac and V S Sunil Kumar had appeared before the commission to give evidences.  CPI legislature party deputy leader C Divakaran was supposed to give evidence before the commission yesterday, he could not do so as he was in Kottayam to attend the CPI state conference that got underway but has informed to appear another day.
