KOZHIKODE: A CPM Kozhikode district committee member and one of the CITU State secretaries, P T Rajan (68), died in Ranchi (Jharkhand) on Sunday. He died after he suffered a heart attack.
Rajan, who had reached Ranchi to take part in CITU general council, developed chest pain and collapsed. Though he was rushed to hospital, his life could not be saved. The body will be taken to his hometown later.
Former Mayor and Mahila Association District president M M Padmavathy is her wife.
