Didn’t receive Chennithala’s letter against Chandy: Congress high command

NEW DELHI: AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik, who is in charge of the Kerala unit of the party, has said that the Congress high command had not received any letter allegedly written by Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and flaws in the UDF government.

In a press note, Wasnik said Ramesh himself had clarified that he had not written a letter and reports contradicting this fact were false. “Earlier there were reports in the media that the Congress high command had confirmed the receipt of Chennithala’s controversial letter. All those news are baseless. This press note had to be released as controversy persisted despite Chennithala coming out with clarification,” he said.
