KOCHI: Justice Sivarajan Commission has deferred to December 21 recording the statement of Saritha S Nair, accused in the solar case. It was postponed as she did not appear for the hearing today. Her counsel informed the commission that due to health problems she could not appear for the hearing. Following that, the commission postponed the hearing to Dec 21.
The commission expressed dissatisfaction on Saritha for not appearing before them. Justice Sivarajan asked then how can a person with health problems talk to the media. The commission in harsh language said it will not be postponed again.
She had complained of nasal bleeding yesterday and so the sitting was postponed to today. Her counsel C D Johnny informed the commission that she has to meet the doctor today and do some tests including scanning.
