LDF had assured to open bars if it assumed power, says Biju Ramesh

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The disc handed over to the vigilance by hotelier Biju Ramesh has been exposed. Biju is heard disclosing at the bar owners meet that the LDF had assured to open the 418 bars closed by the UDF if they assume power. Not only that, Biju is heard saying that vigilance SP Sukesan is against the government. On the basis of the sound track, a crime branch probe was ordered against Sukesan for hatching a conspiracy along with Biju.

CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan asked to topple the government. However, when asked if opposition leader V S Achuthanandan disagrees, Biju replied if VS too agrees, then will do it, the disc said.

Vigilance SP Sukesan is against the government, Biju said. Another bar owner is heard asking is Sukesan really against the government, or whether it was stated to please Biju.
