MAVALIKKARA: A ten-member team allegedly beat up Plus Two students over their Facebook post. The victims are the students Vishnu, Akshay and Aswin from Mavelikkara Boys’ School. The incident happened on Wednesday at around 3:30 pm in front of Mavellikkara Government Boys’ High School.
Vishnu who walked out of the school after school hours was the first one to have been attacked. The other two who ran to his rescue were also bashed up. The miscreants had arrived on their bikes.
The students said Mamkuzhy natives were behind the attack and the reason for the attack is some Facebook posting. The victims have lodged a complaint with Mavelikkara police.
