Wife hacks husband to death

ALAKODE (KANNUR): In a shocking incident, a 45-year-old woman hacked her husband to death. The dead has been identified as Shashi (54), staying near the Alakode Cooperative Hospital. He was running a barber shop named Appoos Hair Dresses at the Alakode Town. The woman identified as Rema was undergoing treatment for mental illness. The man was found lying in the bead with injuries on his neck. The couple was alone in the house. Their two daughters Sharanya and Shruthi were in their in-laws houses. An inquest was conducted by a team lead Alakode sub inspector T V Ashokan. The body has been shifted at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital. The police are questioning her.
