No chance for anomaly in Padmanabhaswamy temple: Justice Rajan

NEW DELHI: Justice Rajan, who was the chairman of the first evaluation committee appointed by the Supreme Court, has said there is no chance for anomaly in Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple.

He said there was little possibility for gold pilferage in the temple since 2007 and if so it happened it would have been with the knowledge of Advocate commission.

“First persons who had come up with the claims that gold were smuggled out of the temple were the amicus curiae and Anand Bose. Even petitioner Sundara Rajan had not made any allegation about smuggling of temple gold. After 1885, B vault had not been opened. The amicus curiae’s finding that it had been opened since then is unbelievable,” Rajan said.
