No films will release if Mr Fraud not permitted to screen: FEFKA

KOCHI: If the ban on Mohanlal starrrer Mr Fraud directed by B Unnikrishnan is not lifted, severe action will be taken, said Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA). The emergency executive meeting of FEFKA decided to stop the screening of other films if Mr Fraud is not permitted to release on May 8.

It was opined at the meeting that it is not the theatres who should decide when the films should release. If the ban is not lifted, a strike will be staged jointly after stopping the shooting of films.

In the meanwhile, exhibitors’ federation president Liberty Basheer has come to the fore challenging FEFKA. He said that if they have the guts let them stop the shooting of films.
